Radicle? (No, we did not spell that wrong!)

In botany, the radicle is the first part of a seedling to emerge from the seed during the process of germination. Radicles are the basis and origin for the entire root system of the plant for its entire life.The primary root grows from the radicle and the herb then grows as the roots spread and strengthen.
The word radical, literally meaning 'of roots', also strongly resonates with our mission; To educate and support people through their holistic healing journey. These days, Herbalism is often considered a radical approach to healing, but it is a tradition with very ancient and deep roots.

Personally, we think radicles are pretty radical and we wanted to honour all the healthy radicles out there whose emergence brings to life all of our precious herbs.

Munna was trained in Traditional Western Herbalism, which combines natural healing practices from many cultures, with modern medical advances, to get to the root of your imbalances. It is our goal to restore you to health and vitality by supporting your own natural healing ability. We use a holistic approach, which means that we aim to create overall health of the body, mind, and spirit. Everything is connected and has it's purpose.
One on one treatment involves finding the underlying cause of an issue, the root of the imbalance. Symptoms are our body's way of communicating, healing and cleansing the body. The suppression of symptoms works against the body. Instead, we support the body in it's ability to heal itself through the use of herbs and other natural healing practices. Herbal tinctures are the primary therapeutic preparation used in treatment. These are made from locally wild crafted and/or organic herbs whenever possible.
Radicle Root Herbs believes in the ethical harvesting of herbs and no endangered species are used in treatment or any of our products.
We understand that herbalism does not feel accessible to everyone, for a variety of reasons, but Munna strives to make it as financially accessible as possible. Beyond that, many of the services we offer, as well as the DIY products we make are aimed to increase your feeling of empowerment to practice herbalism at home for yourself! The plants are out there and the remedies are all simple to make, this is something you can truly take into your own hands to improve your life! We are just happy to be a stepping stone in that healing journey!
